Coolpix AW120, Camera “Super Sekali”
Nikon Camera, baru saja mengeluarkan seri Coolpix AW120. Saya sedang memakai camera ini. Pendapat saya tentang camera ini “super sekali”.
Sebagai pemakai aktiv, akan saya terangkan apa saja yang dilakukan oleh camera ini.
Saya sebagai orang yang aktiv di kegiatan outdoor, apakah itu bersepeda, off road, traveling, maupun bekerja sebagai tenaga survey di lapangan. Dalam berkegiatan hoby dan bekerja, semua perlengkapan saya tahan jatuh, tahan debu, dan tahan air. Peralatan macam itu, saya temukan di Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, Samsung B1200, GPS Garmin, dan terakhir Coolpix AW120.
Coolpix120 sudah memenuhi kebutuhan saya sebagai petualang. Pertama, gambar yang dihasilkan bagus, meski tidak sehebat camera SLR. Bagi saya kwalitas gambar tidak perlu bagus-bagus amat, asalkan camera tersebut memiliki kelengkapan lain dan berukuran kecil. Kedua, AW 120 dilengkapi dengan GPS. Ketiga, AW 120 dilengkapi peta. Keempat, AW 120 tahan terhadap suhu minus 10 C. Kelima, AW120 mempau menyelam sampai kedalaman 18 meter. Keenam, AW120 mampu bekerja sampai di ketinggian 5000 dpl.
Empat hal yang paling menarik pada AW120 adalah : GPS, Peta, kedalaman laut, ketinggian, dan suhu minus. Dua hal yang sudah saya uji, yaitu GPS dan Peta.
Mengenai AW120, saya hanya tertarik membahas tiga hal saja, GPS dan Peta yang terkandung dalam unit camera serta software.
GPS
Saya orang yang selalu membawa GPS Garmin, memandingkannya dengan kecepatan louding satelit, AW120 termasuk cepat menangkap satelit, meski di dalam ruangan. Bagitu ikon satelit muncul, dan stabil, lakukan pemotretan. Dijamin, foto akan disertai koordinat bumi dimana sesuai dengan posisi camera saat itu.
Peta
Camera disisipkan peta offline Here milik Nokia. Peta yang dipakai rinci, sebagaimana peta sajian Google Maps atau Here Maps milik Nokia. Peta bekerja tanpa jaringan GSM. Foto bisa dilihat posisinya di peta. Hanya saja, kapasitas penyimpanan foto yang dapat dilihat di peta camera 30 foto. Tapi itu tak menjadi masalah, karena semua foto bisa dilihat di peta yang terinstal di laptop. Soal ini, nanti saya bahas.
Dukungan Software
Ada dua software yang hebat untuk kelengkapan camera yang disiapakan oleh pengembang Nikon, yaitu ViewNX2 dan wmu.
ViewNX2 adalah software untuk membaca hasil jepretan camera dan memposisikannya dalam peta. Pada ViewNX2, Nikon menggunakan peta Google Maps. Foto akan terlihat dimana posisi camera mengambil gambar. Bahkan, software ini menunjukkan arah camera. ViewNX2, juga menerima hasil foto dari Sony Experia Active dan hasil foto dari GPS Garmin Montana.
Nah, hebatnya lagi, ViewNX2 bisa menerima hasil rekaman GPS Garmin. Karena AW120 tidak mencatat track, maka jika digabungkan dengan catatan GPS, wah hasilnya sungguh luar biasa. Perlu dicatat, rekaman GPS yang diterima dalam format GPX. Sebaliknya, hasil foto AW120, bisa pula dibaca oleh Garmin BaseCamp.
Wmu merupakan perangkat lunak yang disediakan untuk android. Dengan wmu, camera bisa dioperasikan oleh perangkat android yang tersambung melalui jaringan wifi. Melalui wmu, memotret bisa dari jarak jauh. Gambar akan disimpan di camera dan di perangkat android. Nah, gambar yang sudah tersimpan di perangkat andoid, bisa dilihat di Google Maps di perangkat Android.
Untuk perlu diketahui camera saku, benar-benar bisa masuk saku baju ini, adalah made in Indonesia dan berbahasa Indonesia. Meski berukuran kecil, tustel tanpa lensa ini, sangat berguna bagi yang hobby traveling, berpetualang dan untuk survey. Segeralah cari camera tersebut, karena sulit menemukannya di toko-toko camera. Berapa harganya, cari tau sendirilah.
Kesimpulan saya, apa yang saya butuhkan oleh sebuah hasil foto, sudah terpenuhi oleh AW120, setidaknya untuk sementara ini. (Rizal Bustami, pemakai)
